We welcome the Reverend Jerry Tancredi as our new bridge pastor! Pastor Jerry retired at the end of 2021 after serving the people of Centennial Lutheran Church in Kimberton PA for seven years. He and his wife Patti reside in Lansdale. They have a son Vincent and a daughter Laura. Laura is married to the Reverend Tim Ness. Tim and Laura have been blessed with two daughters – Adeline (Addie) is two years old, and Eleanor (Ellie) was just born in June of 2022. The Reverend Laura Tancredi is the pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ardmore Pa, where Tim is the Youth Director.
Pastor Jerry is excited for the opportunity to be with the people of St. Matthew’s. He has a passion for Lutheran worship and theology, and loves to sing. “Our faith begins in worship with the Baptismal promise,” says Pastor Jerry. “In Holy Baptism, God has claimed us! We are sisters and brothers of Christ and heirs to the kingdom of God. In Holy Baptism we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and marked with the cross of Christ forever!”
