Sunday Worship Service

Worship at St. Matthew’s is thematic, based on the scriptures appointed for the day of the church year calendar. Traditional forms of the liturgy are augmented with contemporary styles to offer a blended worship experience.

Congregation Reporting Meeting

The Congregation Reporting Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 18 at 9am in Fellowship Hall. Reports were mailed on January 29. Please bring your report to the meeting.  

Life Line Screenings on March 5, 2018

Life Line Screening will be at St. Matthew’s to provide Preventative Health Screenings for those who are interested. Screenings include: Carotid/Artery/Plaque, Heart Rhythm, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Osteoporosis Risk Assessment. Call 1-866-229-0469 to register.  

Red Cross Blood Drive on March 15

Red Cross Blood Drive at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church on March 15 from 2-7pm. Sign up online www.redcrossblood.org (enter sponsor code: stmatthews).

Maundy Thursday

Christ demonstrates his love by speaking his faithful word and giving us his body and blood. Receive Christ’s love through the Sacrament of Holy Communion and 5th grade students will receive their first Holy Communion at 7:00pm.  

Good Friday

On Good Friday at 7:00pm the church gathers to hear the proclamation of the passion, to pray for the life of the world, and to meditate on the life-giving cross.  

Resurrection of Our Lord/Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is the Day of Resurrection, the day the Lord has made. Let us be glad and rejoice! A festival service with choir, brass and Holy Communion is at 7:45 and 10:15am. No Sunday School or Coffee & Conversation. Enjoy donuts & coffee in Fellowship Hall between services.
